- Ensure that all released POs are sent to suppliers and are confirmed following the required turn-around time.
- Review open POs regularly for expediting to avoid Shortages and ensure accurate data are maintained in ERP system.
- Perform clean-up of past due POs and identify underlying reasons and provide corrective and preventive actions.
- Resolve material issues by maintaining contact with the Supplier until the final receipt of material at the site.
- Organize and facilitate meetings with suppliers to resolve issues for better performance and track action plan status.
- Ensure the supplier meets the agreed delivery schedule.
- Act as the single point of contact for all delivery-related communications.
- Maintain healthy, open relationships with the suppliers.
- Update/generate weekly reporting on the progress of issued Purchas Orders indicating status, commitment inputs for late deliveries, reasons for delays, and action is taken to expedite matters.
- Leads/Co-leads the monthly reporting on expedited POs on-time delivery.
- Handles critical suppliers
- Completes workload on time and processes transactions in a timely manner.
- Implements error-proofing method to ensure all transactions done is accurate.
- Lead/Co-lead on the development of documented processes and timely updates.
- Generate Monthly KPI Metrics and Weekly Report Summary.
- Subject matter expert on processes and point of escalation.
- Committed to operating within a safety-centric environment, which includes working safely and taking action when unsafe practices/conditions are identified within the plant.
- Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
- Ability to receive, track, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Records and database management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and tasks.
- Knowledge of basic mathematical operations and calculations.
- Experience with consignment inventory, receiving, and quality best practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to wear safety equipment such as, but not limited to, safety shoes, safety glasses, hard hats, hearing protection, and respirators.
- Ability to see and hear the visual and audio safety warnings in the plant.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and stretch to perform tasks.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of related work experience in a corporate environment.
