Job Requirements

Implements established logistic and supply chain policies, procedures, and practices to meet requirements supporting short and long-term business needs for five plants. Manages purchasing of materials and equipment to ensure an uninterrupted supply at optimum cost. Ensures connection between sales, purchasing, production control, traffic, and warehousing to support a manufacturing operation and optimize costs. Lead the monthly S&OP process for Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning.

Responsibilities

· Oversees acquisition, warehousing, material management, and distribution/transportation activities to meet company’s business requirements.

· Coordinates the logistic and supply chain activities required for the timely and efficient transportation and warehousing of incoming and outgoing materials and distribution of products.

· Implements established logistic and supply chain policies, procedures, and practices to meet requirements supporting short and long-term business needs.

· Manages purchasing of materials and equipment to ensure an uninterrupted supply at optimum cost.

· Manage Demand/Capacity planning alongside plant scheduling to optimize working capital and costs.

· Drive inventory right sizing, ensure slow-moving and obsolete inventories are minimized.

· Responsible and accountable to drive defined S&OP Metrics.

· Manage up to 5 plants located in 3 states.

Qualifications/Experience

· Three to five years’ experience in supply chain process management for a manufacturing plant required

· Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or a related, relevant field preferred

· APICS and/or ASCM certification preferred

· Knowledge of Advanced Planning and Scheduling Systems, ERP Systems, and MRP (Demand Driven MRP Preferred)

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office

· Strong communication skills to work effectively & efficiently with a cross-functional team

· Solid analytical skills

Salary: $85,000.00 - $94,000.00 per year
