Position Summary:

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the development and delivery of Supply Chain cross-functional projects, process improvement, and business analytics, in alignment with business strategy, including process design, project implementation, change management, root cause and analytics, and more. The position is part of the Supply Chain team and will have significant customer and senior leadership facing interactions, requiring strong interpersonal skills.


Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Manage the supply chain project portfolio including the prioritization of initiatives and timelines through completion

  • Participate in strategy and project idea creation, planning, implementation, and KPI/performance tracking

  • Lead current vs. future state process design activities

  • Develop and lead the communication to varying levels within and outside the organization on status updates

  • Work across multiple organizations to identify gaps in process, recommend solutions

  • Use performance metrics to measure the scope of the improvement opportunity

  • Analyze data and complete root cause analyses

  • Performs moderately complex analysis of information, problems, and/or data. Make recommendations for review.

  • Drive the standardization of processes and the implementation of metrics and best practices

  • Balance meeting business objectives and ensuring accountability while promoting collaborative and friendly environment

  • Create IT business requirements for supply chain system enhancements, being the liaison between the business and the technical teams to drive through completion

  • Provide leadership, mentoring & coaching to indirect supply chain teams

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Supply Chain, Analytics, or Business plus 3 or more years of supply chain experience

  • Prior experience managing complex projects

  • Ability to thrive in a customer facing, fast-paced environment

  • Strong organizational and time management skills; managing parallel projects, multiple internal and customer facing priorities, and aggressive timelines

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Exceptional project management skills

  • Strong conceptual thinking abilities

  • Strong relationship building skills including conflict management

  • Demonstrates knowledge of supply chain management, including the associated value/cost drivers.

  • A transformational leadership approach that continually looks for opportunities for improvement

  • Strong cross-group collaboration and the ability to lead and influence other

  • Strategy development and ability to successfully manage and execute large scale projects

  • Proficiency with analytics tools and concepts

  • Able to analyze trends, data and information and develop insight-driven recommendation

  • Ability to analyze data and quickly extrapolate conclusions from large data sets

  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel

  • Travel required – up to 15%

  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.



Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Supply Chain experience in retail, grocery, or food industry

  • Strong experience with Project management tools and techniques and their practical application

  • Prior analytics experiencing, analyzing large data sets to identify trends and opportunities

  • PMP certification a plus

  • Experience with PowerBI and Blue Yonder/JDA supply chain solutions

  • Demonstrated track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects
