**TEMP TO PERM POSITION**

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a professional like you to join our team, supporting the production planning process in BASF sites and at third-party facilities in North America.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating, validating, and maintaining the master schedule for a portion of the Plastic Additives business portfolio, planning production volumes at third-party facilities, and ensuring imported and domestic raw materials to meet the business and customer needs for the short and mid-term planning horizons.

On daily bases, you will identify gaps in the deliveries and production volumes of third-party companies and align within production (BASF and external tollers), regional planning, and product management.

This role is also the critical interface with production planning, regional planning, and manufacturing to satisfy customer requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your proficiency with SAP APO or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and your ability to solve root causes and prioritize.

Formula for Success

  • Leveraging your bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Chemistry or related field.
  • Your excellent internal and external customer focus will be evident as you manage the replenishment of product using netted demand in support of inventory targets and delivery reliability goals.
  • Your ERP experience (SAP preferred) will serve you well as you monitor orders, stock status, and MRP exception messages in SAP, ensuring products are available to support the business plan.
  • Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be a valued asset as you interface with Customer Support regarding available to promise and backorders.
  • Successfully engaging with Regional and Global Supply partners (or Procurement, if applicable), you will identify, negotiate, and resolve any demand/supply imbalances.
  • Using your strong computer skills in Microsoft Office products (Excel and Access preferred), you will analyze KPI trends to identify areas of opportunity and implement improvement where applicable.
  • Utilizing your excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a cross-functional, multicultural team environment to achieve organizational objectives across a regional and global organization

Qualifications

  • 2+ years SAP experience
  • 4+ years Supply Chain Experience
  • Imported Whole Material Experience highly preferred

Hybrid (3 days at home, 2 days in office in Houston or Alabama)

Preferred candidates in Houston or Alabama.

When worker starts, there will be travel to Alabama or Houston once a month

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
