As a Flight Ops Dispatcher, you will work with a dynamic range of people internal and external to Gulfstream. From our present and future aircraft customers, Sales and Marketing, Customer Support, Service Center Operations, corporate offices, flight crews, experimental aircraft groups and maintenance teams.
Job Description:
Flight Operations Dispatcher is responsible for the following:
- Serve as central point of contact for all domestic and international flight operations
- Mitigate all risk associated with our flights to ensure a safe and efficient operation
- Safely coordinate with our customer base, the release, and dispatch of all flights
- Act as liaison for supplemental charter procurement
Ideal Candidate:
FAA Licensed Dispatcher preferred but not required
Experience with aircraft scheduling and flight planning software preferred but not required
Business or Military aviation scheduling/dispatch background preferred
International and Charter trip management background preferred but not required
FOS Scheduling application background preferred but not required

Job Description
- Dispatches aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company defined policies - (Demonstration: For the purpose of sales demonstration, corporate transportation, and product support. Test: For the purpose of experimental flight test, production and completion flight test, and product support.) .
- Schedules aircraft, flight crew, and maintenance to build the most efficient flight schedule possible while determining the technical and logistical feasibility of each request. .
- Manages all aspects of international trip planning and logistical arrangements for aircraft and flight crew.
- Develops and maintains working relationships with an assortment of internal and external customers. .
- Calculates various flight factors such as weather, runway performance, airport curfews, weight and balance issues, distance, and fuel needs to create and/or update flight plans. .
- Plans and coordinates the use of contract services (i.e., contract crews, charter aircraft) to meet corporate requirements.
- Monitors the progress of dispatched aircraft advising management of significant issues or flight delays. .
- Practical experience with aircraft scheduling and flight planning software.
- Prior experience in a military or civilian flight operation department.
