While you won’t be leaping tall buildings in a single bound, during any given day, as our Supportive Living Manager you can expect to support peer recovery; build and maintain professional relationships with the sober living residents, and ensures the residents’ compliance with the house rules and safety throughout their stay.

You can expect to:

  • Address day-to-day non-therapeutic needs of clients while maintaining a calm, welcoming and professional demeanor
  • Facilitate behavioral health and life skills related groups
  • Provide guidance related to daily life skills (laundry, chores, cleaning, budgeting, grocery shopping)
  • Assist with administration and processing of drug screens
  • Assist with morning wake-up and evening bed check of clients as necessary
  • Offer real-time mentorship and guidance to clients
  • Perform client supervision in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Ensure all medications are locked safely and retrieved for the self-administration by client
  • Address resident issues and enforces behavioral expectations
  • Perform other duties as required

This position is ideal for someone looking to grow in the behavioral health field, and is ideal if you:

  • Are an individual with lived experience who has initiated their own recovery journey and can assist others who are in earlier stages of the healing process of recovery. If you are a person with lived experience, you must be two (2) years sober
  • Are 25 years of age or older
  • Possess a High School Diploma or GED
  • Possess a working knowledge of substance use disorders, mental health disorders, and other psychosocial stressors such as homelessness
  • Use good verbal and written communication skills
  • Have demonstrated experience in coaching and or sponsoring others
