Hiring Range: $54,000-$69,000 annually

Help change the world and improve the lives of North Dakota citizens by using the latest Microsoft technologies to build and support mission critical applications affecting hundreds of thousands of users throughout the world. North Dakota Information Technology (NDIT) is seeking a System Administrator for our Technology Division. As a System Administrator, you will assist the Server Team to maintain reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization. You will be installing and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes. You will also be troubleshooting hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, fulfilling onboarding and offboarding requests and other active directory, access control or network related tasks. Documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues. Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure. Drive innovation thru monitoring and evaluating emerging technologies to determine impact on services and feasibility of implementation; ensure a high level of technology solutions to best serve customers’ needs


To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or a closely related degree, an Associate’s degree in the and 3 years of current and progressive work experience supporting, administering and implementing complex enterprise servers and applications, or 4 years of current and progressive work experience as listed above.
