Systems Administrator
ASU Enterprise Partners is an efficient network of highly skilled teams; it is comprised of a full complement of professional services that work in concert with specialized business units to provide full resources and extend Arizona State University’s ability to achieve its charter.
The Systems Administrator will provide intermediate level support and administration to our various Microsoft technologies and endpoints. This role primarily monitors and maintains Microsoft Endpoint with administration of best practices. The Systems Administrator will also provide assistance with Microsoft Office 365 services related to user administration, feature and stability enhancements, management of SharePoint Online/OneDrive, continued adoption of MS Teams, and participation with patch and maintenance strategies.
What you’ll do:
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities to develop and continuously refine processes to improve Endpoint functionality and stability i.e., address reported issues, vulnerabilities, analyze and address device performance issues, define and implement role-based solutions
- Provides continuous improvement efforts regarding our Endpoint patch strategy
- Manages and monitors physical and virtual endpoints using Microsoft Endpoint
- Manages Endpoint to include update deployment, image building, updating and deploying application management
- Remediates security vulnerabilities on endpoints
- Troubleshoots and resolves end user incidents and service requests with a high sense of urgency
- Monitors and communicates to management the performance of Endpoint services
- Generates effective and accurate reporting
- Conducts new computer provisioning, computer replacements and software/hardware maintenance
- Performs OS upgrades
- Provides Audio Visual support (conference rooms, Zoom rooms and presentation)
- Assists in end user new hire training on new equipment and software
- Communicates to management and end-users in meaningful and understandable terms
- Facilitates communication and collaboration among diverse groups at all levels of the organization
- Performs other related duties as assigned
What you'll need:

- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and responsibility regarding information related to Enterprise Partners, its subsidiaries and University business and confidential prospect information.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, clearly and accurately communicating complex and/or technical information to both technical and nontechnical audiences

- Highly organized and able to juggle multiple projects and competing demands on time and attention while meeting deadlines
- Knowledge of standard office policies and procedures
- Ability to identify creative solutions and use appropriate technology to provide most effective results
- Knowledge of workstation operating systems (Windows 10, Windows 11, and OS X)
- Proficient with Microsoft Azure AD
- Proficient with Microsoft Endpoint
- Proficient PowerShell abilities as it pertains to Endpoint, O365 and AD
- Proficient with Endpoint Management Solution (JAMF, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, etc.)
- Proficient knowledge of desktop, laptop, and server hardware
- Familiarity with audio visual equipment
- An advocate’s belief in the vision of ASU as the New American University
Relevant qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in technology or related field AND
- At least four (4) years directly related information technology services experience,
- OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
