Position Summary:

Support management of Information Technology (IT) infrastructure including hardware, network software, phone system to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of the system to support company objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain the IT infrastructure.

a. Manage and maintain the computer network including hardware and software, storage, security and backup

capability.

b. Configure and manage user computers to a standard Barber-Nichols operating environment.

c. Maintain appropriate network software for anti-virus, email filtering, and access.

d. Monitor and enable adequate storage for shared file directories and recommend additions or clean

up as necessary while also having responsibility for system access if directed by Network Analyst.

e. Support company VOIP phone system software and hardware and provide employee training.

f. Manage server operation including start-up, reboot and maintenance under direction of Network Analyst.

g. Manage daily backup of Epicor and shared files and securely store offsite (or cloud) so in the event of

incident or data loss, backup can be restored with minimal business interruption.

h. Install, monitor and support ERP and client software.

i. Support and assist with Hyland Unity OnBase document management system.

j. Manage and maintain an Office 365 environment by assisting with user setups, applying licensing, and MDM.

k. Administer and support Azure VMs.

l. Create and manage O365 SharePoint Cloud sites for domain user and external client access.

Ensure secure and license compliant network access.

a. Manage network servers including installation of software releases, patches and anti-virus updates.

b. Ensure network security through new employee network activation, termination of employees,

Active Directory and use of MFA system

c. Perform duties as required as part of incident response team.

d. Maintain computer security and access using Domain Name Service (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration

Protocol (DHCP) and Group Policy Object (GPO).

Troubleshoot and maintain IT equipment.

a. Support and service user computer workstations and laptops as required including repair,

replacement and spare part inventory to support the business needs and growth.

b. Provide help desk support for hardware and network applications.

c. Support stand-alone PCs used in the business.

d. Provide help desk support to company users.

Requirements:

To qualify for this position, an individual must possess the knowledge, training, experience and abilities required.

Education and Training

Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline or an

equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

Experience in operation of active directory and exchange server.

Experience with Windows System administration including Microsoft Windows 2012 and

higher.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of products and internet applications.

Additional Requirements:

Must be willing to work overtime as required.

Desired Job Qualification:

MS Network Certification (MCSA)

Relational database experience

Pay:

Hiring Salary Range: $80,000-$115,000.

Note: The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is eligible for bonus.
