Who are we hiring?

The Systems Administrator will work with the engineering team to have an all-round understanding of Office 365, SharePoint, and AD for both on-prem and in the Cloud (Azure, AWS). The Systems Administrator will be responsible for supporting and engineering identity solutions, troubleshooting day-to-day operations within on-prem and Cloud AD/Exchange for all MSG venues. This role is the crucial point of contact between the Domain Services team and other internal departments. The Systems Administrator must work towards improving the quality of support including the Domain services change/support requests for the cloud infrastructure using ServiceNow and proactively develop service catalogs encompassing a mindset for a fully automated environment. The Systems Administrator will offer Level 2 and Level 3 Domain Services and additional Server/Storage Support that includes operation and change management. This position will also mentor staff members to develop excellent enterprise infrastructure and Identity skills.

What will you do?

• Responsible for day-to-day operational support for Domain Services with consideration of enhancing operations process within Identity Management.
• This job involves tackling various SharePoint and Microsoft 365 issues that contribute to the smooth functioning of the organization including high-level Domain Services operational support for on-prem and cloud infrastructure.
• Responsible for Level 2 and Level 3 support of Domain Services including on-call related Incidents for executives both on-prem and cloud.
• The Systems Administrator will design/engineer and implement Identity automation and intelligence, embracing the opportunities for machine learning and other advanced intelligent platforms to drive outcomes.
• Responsible for partnering with Security and Compliance teams for the management of security audit.
• Responsible for building and continual development of existing automation scripts that utilize Powershell, VisualStudio or VBScript.
• Partners proactively with technology teams and offers support and assistance with Systems
• Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the organization’s executives, department heads, and end users regarding pertinent IT activities.
• Hands-on technical depth enables direct oversight, problem-solving leadership, engineering/design and participation for a complex Identity implementation.

What do you need to succeed?

• At least 10 years of enterprise infrastructure operations experience – applicant must be “hands on keyboard” with the ability to technically troubleshoot identity related outages and offer support assistance for infrastructure server/storage support.
• 5-8 years of experience working with automation scripting languages for on-prem Active Directory and/or Azure AD.
• 5-8 years of experience working with the market leading cloud providers which MSG has defined as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.
• 3-5 years’ experience working with Microsoft Azure Active Directory and Office365 tools and platforms (including SharePoint).
• 3-5 years of experience working with the market leading identity solution providers
• 3-5 years’ experience working with ServiceNow understanding how to implement and enforce SLAs and other metrics.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or information systems is preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience engineering, designing, deploying, maintaining, and upgrading Microsoft Active Directory (2008 and newer)
• Experience with various scripting platforms including Powershell, VisualStudio or VBScript.

• Role is an individual contributor role but may teach and lead operational initiatives.

• Candidate selected may have to travel several times throughout the year to other business locations.
• On-Call rotation with other team members.
