Job description
The Position of Systems Analyst that states minimum entry requirement as Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology/Systems, or equivalent. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
Roles & Responsibilities:
participate in scrum meetings to determine software application needs and implement the same into a functional design. review, analyze and evaluate user requirements, procedures, and processes to automate or improve existing systems. define, develop and record system’s business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications for the application environment. Analyze, develop and implement systems specifications and create technical documentation to support the applications that meet user requirements. analyze, develop, deploy, document, maintain and support systems and applications. Develop and implement comprehensive system test plans to ensure that systems and programs are tested and debugged. Gather Business Requirements, create Functional Requirements Document (FRD) and analyzed data/workflows, define the scope, cost/benefit analysis, progress from Problem Statement to well-documented designs. Prepare user guidelines for easy access of the application. Significant experience with both traditional waterfall SDLC and Agile/Lean methodologies. Technologies: Python, SQL, Java, Bash, Scala, Cloudera, Hortonworks, Hive, Spark, MapReduce, Apache Tez, Apache Hadoop, YARN.
