We are CURRENTLY seeking a Systems Coordinator to join our growing team!

As a member of the CGT Texas Team, the Systems Coordinator is responsible for the execution and compliance to through planning, implementing, auditing, controlling, monitoring, and evaluating the Management System to ensure continuous compliance and registration to Industry Quality Standards.
Achieves objectives by contributing Management Systems information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans for QMS; implementing Automotive, Quality and EHS System standards; resolving systemic problems; completing audits; identifying trends; in the areas as per IATF 16949, ISO/IEC 17025, ISO14001, ISO45001 and Quality systems “Best Practices”.
Implement suitable strategic initiatives to deliver results in accordance with the organization’s Quality policy and legal requirements; to check, monitor and measure the results against the policy, objectives, targets other requirements; and act to continually improve the performance of the Management System with an overall goal of prevention of issues that may affect the Customer, shareholders our employees and other stakeholders’ satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

What does a typical day look like? I'm glad you asked!
  • Plan, implement, create, evaluate, coordinate, oversee and maintain the IATF 16949 Quality certification. Support of site specific EHS policies, programs, and practices such as ISO14001 and ISO45001 certifications. Accountable for continued / renewed certifications as required by the International Technical Specifications.
  • Plan, Monitor and Executes Internal Audits to ensure continuous compliance to Industry Standards. Oversees the activities of the Internal Auditing Teams and Champions the execution of the Internal Auditing Schedule.
  • Directly communicates with auditors representing the accreditation bodies for certification of the EHS & Quality System to Industry Standards.


Perform Quality System Management:
  • Plan and implement systems that perform the work and fulfill the requirements of the Quality System efficiently and effectively including customer specific requirements.
  • Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, output, and customer satisfaction measures while maintaining compliance to IATF 16494 requirements.
  • Collaborate in the preparation and maintenance of reports necessary to carry out the functions of the department. Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment and the EHS/Quality System maintenance and compliance.
  • Communicate regularly as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to stakeholders within the organization as it relates to compliance and improvement of the Management System.
  • Oversees the activities of the Internal Auditing Teams and champions the execution of the Internal Auditing Schedule.
  • Ensure Plant staff and team members are trained on TS/QMS/ISO requirements.
  • Create/Update plant documentation and training as appropriate based on QMS/Customer requirements.
  • Train applicable team members on system requirements.
  • On time response to audit issues (internal and external).
  • Performs other duties deemed necessary by the local management.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Skills Knowledge and Expertise

What You Offer Us:

Education:
  • Associates degree or equivalent of four (4) years of quality experience in the Automotive Industry preferred.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Experience:
  • Must have Lead Auditor Training/Certification for one of the following technical specifications, IATF 16949 / ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
  • Strong Knowledge of all aspects of automotive quality Advanced Product Quality Process (APQP).
  • Strong knowledge in Root Cause Analysis and Core Tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, Specifications, and procedure manuals. Can write routine reports and correspondence. Proficiency on Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and SAP is preferred.
