VRC Investigations is currently expanding our Information Technology Department. Veracity Research Co. Investigations (VRC), is one of the nation’s leading and most experienced investigation companies. VRC is seeking a qualified Systems Support Specialist. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the day-to-day IT related computer and systems support of the entire organization. This position requires the use of help desk systems to track issues and resolutions, email and other methods of communication to reach end users. Work involves considerable computer skills, language skills, writing capabilities, and organization. This position is a full-time, non-exempt position located in our corporate office in Denton, TX and will report to the support department lead.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Requires 1+ years of IT Support experience
  • Requires 5 years of system hardware maintenance
  • Prefers 3+ years of Office 365 administration experience
  • Prefers 1+ years of experience with help desk systems such as Jira Service Desk

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Managing help desk tickets
  • Providing solutions and advice on technical issues
  • Creating manuals for technical training
  • Using feedback from customers to improve problem-solving techniques and customer service
  • Responding to texts, emails, and calls on technical issues
  • Documenting and analyzing technical issues and customer interactions
  • Attending training sessions and conferences to stay current with best practices on how to help customers with technical issues
  • Assist the IT department with daily duties as needed

  • Systems Support (Microsoft Windows Server Technologies, Workstations)
  • DNS & IP Subnetting Knowledge
  • WatchGuard Network Appliances and Firewalls
  • Office 365
  • Azure AD
  • PowerShell usage and knowledge
  • Software Support (Microsoft)
  • Must pass a drug test and pre-employment testing

Compensation:
VRC employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis at an hourly wage $18.00 - $20.00/hr commensurate with experience.
