Job description

The T&MA (Technical and Management Assistance) Self-Help Training Assistant's primary job is to review provided training (via on-site or virtual), database administration, grant application review, reporting, and record-keeping related to monthly, quarterly, and yearly Statement of Work requirements. The Training Assistant will work within T&MA Region II, which consists of the states of Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas and Wyoming.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following; Review Section 532 Mutual Self-Help applications submitted and prepare review documents to submit to Rural Development State Directors and Personnel. Assist in planning, reporting and overall involvement in the work performed and required by the USDA RD T&MA Contractor Statement of Work. Maintain up-to-date progress profiles, surveys, research demographics, and monthly and quarterly analysis of program status and activities relative to the T&MA mission. Assist with monitoring and evaluating reports from information supplied by the grantees that may be pertinent to the overall grant performance.
