What You'll Do:

Working with the Director of Talent Acquisition, the scope of this role is broad – from leading Talent Acquisition operations to maintaining a strong and compelling employment brand all while furthering our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). The successful candidate will balance a strong presence with thoughtful and responsive stakeholder management; process and technology expertise with relationship management and influence savvy; day to day execution with longer-term capability building.

Build Talent Acquisition Capabilities:

  • Promotes a culture of creativity and accountability within the talent acquisition team to enhance relationships with hiring managers by providing consultative advice and delivering quality results.
  • Lead online and social recruiting strategy development and execution; ensure platforms are appropriately leveraged (ROI) and in keeping with current user behavior.
  • Work with Talent Management leader to develop any recruiting training required for hiring managers.
  • Deliver behavior-based interviewing programs focused on high quality interviews being conducted by interview teams.
  • Lead the development of advanced sourcing and pipelining strategies and practices.
  • Continue to develop and strengthen the capability of the team to source for and fill hard-to-fill roles.

Lead Talent Acquisition Operations:


Influences and contributes to the development of recruitment processes. Ensures all workforce and Talent Acquisitions plans are clarified and executed across team.

  • Partners with other HR departments and shared services teams to review processes and partner to maximize efficiencies and effectiveness for talent acquisition.
  • Manages special projects as a member of the Talent Acquisition team to innovate and continuously improve our processes.
  • Create/use recruiting metrics and analytics to provide insights, drive decision making and measure team productivity (i.e. SLAs, and customer satisfaction).
  • Work with the appropriate HR and Communications staff to ensure that the SSB brand and strategy are reflected on all web/social media platforms and in all recruiting materials.
  • Manage staffing vendor relationships, performance expectations and annual spend.
  • Develop & manage campus recruitment activities, including the company internship program.
  • Maintain a partial requisition load (Executive level-Dir +) as needed, being flexible to accommodate resource needs and availability.
  • Technology leadership for applicant tracking system (ATS), social recruiting platforms, diversity recruiting platforms; partner with HRIS to ensure maximum functionality & utilization of our SuccessFactors ATS.

What You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, HR, or relevant field or equivalent experience.
8+ years of progressively responsible HR experience preferred, with demonstrated success in Talent Acquisition.
Significant experience as a recruiter filling technical and executive level positions.
Experience with advanced sourcing and pipelining strategies.
A technology orientation with demonstrated experience in process, technology, and tools to optimize the effectiveness of the recruiting function. SuccessFactors highly desired!
Experience designing and delivering metrics and reports, assisting managers in anticipating and planning for recruiting needs.
Experience managing contract recruiters, staffing agencies, retained and contingent search firms.
Action Oriented mind-set and ability to work (and thrive!) in a fast-pace environment.
Hands on experience with ATS’s required. SuccessFactors highly desired.
Knowledge of KPI’s and a metrics-oriented mind set
Sense of humor and ability to think outside of the box!
