A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

  • Source and present top talent through a variety of creative channels; conduct in-depth phone screens, assessing candidates evaluating skill level, driving offer process, including salary recommendations, and closing of candidates’ while maintaining a positive focus on experience throughout the process.
  • Focus on providing consistent communication to your internal partners and candidates, as well as contributing on other initiatives including driving diversity, equity and inclusion, workforce strategy meetings and branding efforts.
  • Work in collaboration with business stakeholders to assess workforce needs, track and report out on recruitment efforts to drive high volume strategy and achieve business hiring goals.
  • Contribute towards the training sessions and information workshops on a variety of recruitment topics including program design input and implementation with new tools and systems supporting Talent Acquisition.
  • Assure compliance with Federal and State regulations and Labor policies on recruitment and employment activities.
  • Participate in virtual and onsite career events, which may require travel.
Qualifications


The essentials

  • Five or more years of experience with end to end recruiting efforts, including crafting job postings, sourcing, and screening candidates, negotiating and extending offers.
  • Experience working with recruiting and people-related tools and systems, including applicant tracking systems, resume databases, internet sourcing tools and complex spreadsheets.

The preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience with recruiting represented/union, technical, or engineering positions.
  • Recruitment of high-volume positions and hiring with set training start dates.
  • Experience using video interview software like HireVue or similar.
  • Two or more years of high volume recruiting experience.
  • Managed and prioritized multiple searches, project coordination and client relationships.
  • An authentic passion for diversity and inclusion and the ability to weave that into all aspects of the role.
  • Experience using advanced sourcing techniques to include Boolean and x-ray searches, advanced LinkedIn and applicant tracking systems searches, and conducting internal referral campaigns.

  • The position’s work mode is remote. Employee is able to work primarily at home or remote however, the employee may be expected to come to an SCE facility on occasion. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Hiring organizations can add further requirements related to specific jobs.   • This position requires testing and applicants who are identified to continue through the selection process will be invited to test via email. Candidates who have previously passed these assessment(s), in some cases, may not need to retest again for this position.
