Summary :
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for assisting with the design, implementation, and on-going improvement of a comprehensive talent acquisition plan to effectively identify, attract, recruit, and hire qualified talent to meet current and projected staffing needs. In partnership with the hiring manager, builds and executes progressive sourcing strategies to secure the right talent to help ThedaCare meet business needs. Is responsible for networking and researching to identify qualified referrals, develop proactive leads, and convince qualified candidates to further explore opportunities within ThedaCare.Job Description:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Creates a comprehensive practice/description profile for each job with hiring leadership based on the understanding of department needs, labor trends, and desired staffing outcomes. 2. Develops new and innovative candidate sources and applicant pools, and proactively identifies recruiting strategies by job. 3. Completes candidate assessments by following standards to ensure delivery of the best talent with the right combination of skills, experience, and job “fit” that supports ThedaCare’s vision. 4. Maintains continuous communication and develops relationships with hiring leaders to understand their needs and priorities for candidate skill sets as it relates to current open jobs and forecasted needs. 5. Seeks new and best in class recruiting events, onsite and external career fairs, college recruiting, and social media strategies. 6. Advocates best practice standards to improve and execute background checks, reference checks, phone screens, sourcing methods, and in-person interviews. 7. Keeps abreast of and maintains industry, local, and national recruiting/staffing trends through education, networking, and collaboration with operational partners. 8. Provides training to team members and leaders including agency orientation, hiring process, and workforce management. QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree • Two years of experience in a similar job PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance • Job classification is not exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties WORK ENVIRONMENT: • Climate controlled office setting with daily movement throughout the facility • Interaction with department members, applicants, and operational leaders
