TALENT MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT

Job Summary:

The Talent Management Consultant provides a range of consultation services to management on the development and implementation of key developmental, organizational development and training initiatives for creating and sustaining a high performing organization. Works collaboratively at organization and division levels to identified and assess training needs; proactively identifies developmental solutions that lead to continuous improvement of organizational performance.

Creates and implements staff development programs that support the organization’s learning objectives and foster a highly effective management that increase employee satisfaction and engagement. The scope includes design training modules and presentations, implementation, management, delivery and assessment of programs and plans.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops, coordinates, implements, facilitate, and evaluates training and development programs that support organization objectives and are aligned with the organization’s business plan.
  • Proactively identify and assess training needs of staff.
  • Participates in new projects, services, and initiatives to lead learning and development activities needed. Trains trainers and assures instructional quality and appropriate content of consultants and contract trainers.
  • Coordinates training activities with senior leaders and manages the work of outside consultants when used.
  • Provides coaching in team and organizational development services to senior management and assure initiatives are in alignment with the organization’s strategic and business plans. Advice management and develops interventions about impacts resulting from whole organization changes as well as other OD services. Assess root causes and performance gaps, implementing and/or supporting implementation of appropriate interventions.
  • Co -Administrates (LMS) Learning System & Succession Module for the Bank.
  • Designs and maintains FirstBank University common language and templates for the three regions.
  • Develops and presents periodic statistical and status reports to management.
  • Define and Implement Talent Management Procedures.
  • Facilitate act ivies that lead to increase Engagement Rate.
  • Performs other related job duties as required.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning styles, participative training design, group dynamics, interactive learning methods, systems theory and quality improvement processes, advanced consulting methods, leadership coaching, group process facilitation, organization communications processes, presentation skills and project management.
  • O.D. theories, philosophies, and methods; organizational analysis, change management, team dynamics and organizational behavior.
  • Training and development needs analyses, program development, delivery methods and development of working knowledge and communities.
  • Ability to teach and give feedback to new educators
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, and Webex.
  • Knowledge on Learning System Platforms

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in industrial psychology, Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Applied Behavioral Sciences, Business Administration, or related field. Preferred: Master or PhD. in Industrial Psychology

Years of relevant experience:

Five years internal consultation, OD and corporate training experience working with senior managers utilizing the skills and knowledge described above to improve work groups, teams, and organizations.

Preferred: seven years’ experience in a complex, multi-site organization.
