About the team
Amazon Devices first introduced the Kindle in 2007. Since then, they’ve gone beyond the Kindle with powerhouse Fire tablets, Fire TV, the Fire TV Stick with voice search, Amazon Echo and Alexa. More recently they’ve introduced two new lines of business, Ring and Project Kuiper. Ring’s mission is to reduce crime in neighborhoods with smart security that is accessible to everyone. Project Kuiper is a long-term initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low latency, high speed broadband connectivity to underserved communities. Recently we’ve made the decision to align these two businesses under one HR charter with a focus on building scalable talent and people mechanisms that are focused on new acquisitions and startup organizations.
