What You'll Do

You will be a key member of our team, preparing business, individual, and estate tax returns (1040, 1041, 1065, 1120S and 1120). The preparer is also responsible for assisting other tax professionals as needed; activities may include tax research and reporting functions.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Preparation business, and estate tax returns (1065, 1120S and 1120)

· Preparation Individual returns

· Provide accounting assistance with client QuickBooks

· Limited preparation of quarterly and annual payroll filings

· Client communication

Qualifications

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience preparing tax returns

· Experience with UltraTax a plus

· Accounting degree preferred but not required

· CPA candidate, CPA or EA a plus

· Experience with QuickBooks

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, including: Outlook, Word and Excel

· Strong organizational skills

· Self-starter and proactive approach to work

· Ability to receive constructive criticism and feedback to improve processes

· Reliable and trustworthy

· Maintains high level of professionalism at all times

IT savvy and comfortable working with technology

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
