Gehman Accounting tax professionals have many years of experience. Most of our accountants are licensed as either CPAs or EAs.
When we run into a complicated tax situation, we consult our resources and gain advice from the rest of the team. Gehman Accounting is searching for qualified accountants to join our team.
Job Title: Tax Accountant, Tax Team
Location: 180 Diller Avenue, New Holland, PA 17557
Job Type: Full Time
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare a variety of tax forms including: 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120F, 1120S, 990, 1041, and state returns
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements
- Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts
- Communicate with IRS regarding audits
- Provide support for ongoing tasks and special projects
Qualifications
Qualifications expected:
- Thorough knowledge of tax preparation for both individual and small business tax
- CPA or Enrolled Agent with 2+ years of experience
- Expert knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel preferred but not required
- Experience with Ultra Tax tax software
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
