Seeking an experienced Windows (Wintel) Administrator for our Enterprise Command Center.

Candidate will have at least 1-2 years’ experience in a Windows administration role

Candidate will assist in resolving high impact/urgency tier-2 support, incidents, and work orders. Specifically those impacting or involving the use of Windows System Management will be the focus of the role.

Candidate will document, maintain, and improve process/procedure.

Candidate must exhibit task and time management skills, oral and written communication skills, technical expertise, and dedication to resolve problems effectively and efficiently minimizing disruptions.

  • Night Shift (Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday and alternating Wednesday) 20:00 ET to 8:00 ET

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Strong technical skills in Windows Administration specifically in the area of Folders and Share Drive Requests
  • Responsible for day-to-day support of data backup and restoration and/or storage services
  • Monitors backup and/or storage system performance using monitoring tools
  • Experience with CA Technologies Spectrum & Service Operations Insight (SOI)
  • Communication and Teamwork
  • Experience with Commvault, Netapp, or IBM Tivoli administration
  • Provides basic support for data storage systems, processes and enhancements for company's complex high traffic, business critical internet site communications and/or network-based (cloud) product systems
  • Adheres to design and operational documentation for enterprise storage environments, including enterprise storage arrays, fiber channel switches and Network Attached Storage (NAS) physical and virtual tape devices
  • Performs backup and/or storage related administration of physical and virtualized servers
  • Extensive Windows experience, preferably with Server 2008 & 2012
  • Strong IT experience on multiple Enterprise platforms/technologies
  • Ability to correlate data to resolve root cause issues, architect and implement enterprise solutions.
  • Utilize a variety of remote access tools and techniques
  • Conduct/participate in meetings with other teams/work groups to establish/validate project timelines
  • Self-motivated, proactive, independent and responsive; requires little supervisory attention.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Previous Experience in a Service Desk or Network Operations environment.

6+ years experience with HS, 4+ years experience with AA or 2+ years experience with Bachelor's Degree

Previous experience managing the availability of critical enterprise applications and major incident management
