Job Title:   Business Systems Analyst
Duration:   12 months
Location:  Peoria or Aurora, IL (onsite role)

Job Description:
Position’s Contributions to Work Group
To develop and support the system solution functionality of one or more applications or business processes in the area of Product and Substance Compliance.

Specific support and development job responsibilities include:

  •             Development

o            Develop Requirements
o            Translate business needs from new or amended regulations into requirements to develop or enhance IT solutions.
o            Provide automated analysis and reporting solutions. 
o            Develop use cases and participate in design, development, and test phases of projects
o            Develop UAT scripts and facilitate UAT
o            Document user instructions 
o            Develop trouble shooting guides and FAQs for recurring basic support questions

  •             Support

o            Monitor ongoing IT issue resolution, data quality and enhancement requests. 
o            Triage issues found, determine priority, and establish responsible department for issue resolution
o            Ensure thorough documentation throughout issue resolution
o            Validate & monitor issue closure progress

Typical Day
Developing and supporting system solution functionality of multiple applications / business processes in the area of Product & Substance Compliance.

Education Requirements:  
Bachelor''s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, chemical engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred. 10+ years experience required.

Technical Skills

  •             Experience using Teamcenter, and with Relational Databases (i.e. Oracle, Snowflake, etc.). 
  •             Experience analyzing data flow from various data sources to uncover errors and data disconnects. 
  •             Experience in developing requirements    
  •             Basic experience in coding in SQL and .Net, or exposure to these, with working knowledge of their potential to solve business problems
  •             Working knowledge of complex bill of material management 
  •             Experience working cross functionally (i.e. product groups, purchasing) to determine root cause, influence priority, and support data correction and root cause resolution

  •             Demonstrated high quality standards and ability to learn
  •             Demonstrated collaboration, influencing, and relationship skills
  •             Demonstrated problem solving skills

Travel Requirement:
0-25%, between Peoria and Aurora

On-Site Interview Required:
Preferred

Interview Hold Times:  
Week of 8/22

Notes:
Need someone with a Bachelor's degree or higher and 8-10 years of experience with translating business requirements to technical requirements experience, process mapping, team center and bill of material management experience .
