Under the direction of Global Security (GS), the position provides technical security support to all Colgate facilities worldwide. This position manages, maintains and provides support to Colgate’s Global Security(GS) technical security program to secure Colgate people, facilities and products. This is a 40 hour/week position, which could require after-hours and weekend calls to troubleshoot and solve issues.

Main Responsibilities

• The Technical Security Associate Specialist primary responsibility is to support Global Security’s ongoing technical projects and initiatives. These tasks include, vetting incoming projects, service agreements, software and new locations. Responding to users within a 24 hour SLA, administering the security software used in daily operations, coordinating software pushes and management with GIT, creating and enforcing standards for global security technology hardware and software, and upgrading servers/softwares to meet colgate and honeywell standards.
• Take initiative to resolve issues without escalating to a third party vendor in an effort to save cost. The TSAS coordinates with third party contractors, provides insight into projects, routing PO’s, provides technical specifications to on-site Colgate users and the installation of software, as well training to operators and Colgate leadership.
• Serve as the backup for emergency communication platform, a website maintenance, and travel security and support as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Security Management, Networking; or 5 years of equivalent experience.
• Proficient in program and installation, design troubleshooting, and problem resolution of technical and electronic security systems, access control systems such as Prowatch, CCTV systems such as Maxpro, and Emergency Notification and Accountability Applications, and assist with and/or perform technical surveys, system specifications;
• Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot a multitude of technical security and access control systems; create tickets for service and follow up to ensure issues have been resolved, write reports, equipment and/or system evaluations, maintenance and/or installation activity reports, technical field notices, and other documentation as required.
• Demonstrate sound time management practices to meet deadlines and to exercise efficiency in planning, prioritizing, and accomplishing assigned tasks and problem resolution.
• Articulate thoughts, ideas and align opposing points of view through all forms of communication internal to Global Security, security vendors, and cross functionally within Colgate

Salary Range $68,880 - $101,220 USD

Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
