This is a customer care and technical support role for a person with great customer service skills and a desire to do what is right for the customer.

Hilltop Broadband is looking for a reliable and knowledgeable person to fill our technical customer support, dispatching and customer service position. Your goal is to help our customers understand their services, resolve any problems and escalate to or dispatch a technician as necessary. Excellent customer service is what we pride ourselves on, you should be happy to help customers. You will be helping both wireless and fiber optic internet service customers within our service territory.

Description:

Reporting to the office manager or network engineering team, our support and scheduling representative will be answering support and new customer calls, responding to emails, working with field technicians in the office and on the phone. You will be acting as our primary contact for residential and business customers.

Requirements:

Available to work Monday through Friday, approx. 8am to 6pm (office hours are 9-5). High school diploma, some technical schooling or college preferred.

Experience -- preferred but not required

• Customer support role -- phone, email or in person
• Communications skills -- note taking, typing, listening
• Wired and Wireless networking knowledge -- not required but would be a plus
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, Windows, Mac

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
