Job description

We are looking for a Technical Support Representative who will provide front-line computer support to faculty, teaching assistants, and students on the Learning Management System (LMS), instructional hardware and software, as well as electronic grading hardware and software.

Responsibilities:

• Provides a wide range of support services, including, but not limited to: Posting video files and ensuring quality control of video files, printing, collating, and filing incoming homework submitted via fax and e-mail.
• Provides some faculty support and troubleshooting for faculty and teaching assistants.
• Supports assessment options identified by Assessment Coordinator.

Requirements:

• Technical or education support experience or knowledge, customer service or student service experience.
• Office experience in technical or education support.
• Knowledge of college learning management systems such as Desire2Learn, Blackboard, Canvas or equivalent, general office knowledge including phone customer support, large copier system usage, filing, keyboard typing, email correspondence.
• MS office application knowledge

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Los Angeles, CA 90089: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Customer service: 3 years (Preferred)
