Job description
Unfinished is seeking a Freelance Technical Writer with experience in blockchain to help create technical documentation that share a common voice and narrative. You will partner with our blockchain and services development teams to build technical documentation, spec documentation and white papers for a technical audience.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with subject matter experts in shaping content from raw technical documents into public-facing developer documentation

Tasks include organizing, designing, editing, and reviewing technical documentation and spec documentation for a blockchain project

Responsible for revisions as products and code are updated

Develop “How to” examples and Gettingd tools for new products we are developing

Conduct internal research and partner closely with tech team and community manager to identify and develop technical documentation needed by developer community

Assist with whitepaper development and review

Work with Product Management, Engineering, Community Manager, and partner team to plan deliverables.
Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a technical writer for SaaS based or blockchain products

Deep experience in an IT development environment and understanding of technical concepts,

Able to can digest technology concepts quickly and proactively research technical concepts when necessary

Demonstrable experience writing technical documentation and spec documentation for blockchain or SaaS products

Experience with public interest or open source technology is a plus
