About the Role


The Technology Associate at PSI supports the Product and Technology teams during their time on the PSI Pathways program. They collaborate with groups across the department to support teams in fulfilling their core objectives, including Software Engineering, Quality Assurance, DevOps and Database Administration.


This is a full-time permanent role, with flexible hours around core office availability Monday to Friday. The role is currently based in the Olathe, KS office but can also be performed remotely, with occasional travel required for meetings, events and workshops.


Role Responsibilities


  • Learn PSI’s products and processes.
  • Researching and embracing new techniques and technology to improve existing technology.
  • Use principles, guidelines and best practices as defined by the IT Leadership team.
  • Participate in planning, development, testing, and deployment of PSI’s technology.
  • Collaborate with development team, product managers, technical support and business partners.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve day to day technology related issues.
  • Provide support for critical production systems including some nights and weekends.
  • Participate and support best practices for ensuring continued availability and security of on-premises and cloud infrastructure while providing a clear audit trail.
  • Maintaining and creating product knowledge documentation.
  • Assist with resolution of customer issues and reports.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements


  • Education to Bachelor’s degree level in Computer Science or related field.
  • Knowledge of modern software development languages, client-side technologies and deployment tools, e.g. Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot, .net, Go, CSS, HTML, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies to support existing technology stacks.
  • Familiarity with AGILE development methodologies and bug tracking software is a plus.
