How is This Role Important to Our Work?
We are looking for hard-working Technology consultants who can help us build innovative technology experiences that will support BlueCross’s mission to inspire change, transform care and improve health for the people we serve.
A Day in the Life:
- Analyze, design, configure, debug, maintain new or existing Care Management platforms.
- Work closely on a daily scrum team with a scrum master, product owner, analysts, other developers, and testers to iteratively deliver functional code to production.
- Work with business customers, analysts, and team members to understand requirements.
- Chip in to system designs and technology platform decisions.
- Participate in the full software development and configuration lifecycle.
- Leverage established platform configuration and customization standard methodologies.
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Knowledge of agile, DevOps, IT Service Management, and other development and support processes and methodologies.
- Prototype design and implementation.
- Care management operational experience
- Experience with:
- Requirement interpretation/writing
- Configuration of care management systems
- Jira

Required Skills and Experiences:
- 3+ years of related professional experience. All significant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
- Crucial Candidate Qualities:
- Creative thinking, good communication skills, creativity, curiosity, self-motivated, time managements skills
- Configuration and administration experience with:
- Health care platforms preferred
- Knowledge, experience, and familiarity with:
- Microsoft suites, Jira, Agile Methodology
Role Designation:
Teleworker
Role designation definition: Teleworking is working full time remote. Hybrid is a combination of working onsite and remotely. Onsite is full-time onsite.
