This role is for an Agile Product Management Senior Manager within the Care Solutions Technology team (a division within the Care Technology organization). This position will be responsible for leading all of the Solution Management functions that reside within the Capabilities portion of the Care Solutions Delivery Model. The Capabilities teams support the common set of capabilities being built and enhanced to support the full suite of Evernorth Care Solutions products (Evernorth Medical-MSK, Evernorth Medical-Health, Wellness, and Incentives, Evernorth - Behavioral, Evernorth - Navigation).

The organization under this position will be made up primarily of Technical Solution Managers who are tasked with working with our business stakeholders & technology partners to represent the end user needs for the Solution Train via their management of their portion of the scope decomposition process. This role will provide opportunities to both:

Guide key elements of the Care Solutions capabilities and ensure that the capabilities being built out support and benefit all products within the Care Solutions product suite

Participate and shape strategic business & technology solutions within the Care Solutions Technology, Care Technology, and Evenorth Care Solutions space

This role will partner heavily with other Care Technology leadership to ensure that all the identified requirements across all affected technology domains meet the objectives of the business partners. Additionally, this position will require heavy interaction and partnership with all levels of Business and Technical Stakeholders, Epic Owners, Product Managers, Architects, and other delivery partners across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership, direction, and management to a team of Technical Solution Managers

Influence the Solution Management resources and related delivery teams to ensure all are working towards a common goal and ultimately delivering value via the Capabilities focused efforts

In partnership with the Technical Solution Managers, Business Stakeholders, Delivery Partner Technical Product Managers, and the collective Capability team members ensure that roadmaps are defined for all Care Solutions Portfolio capabilities

Provide leadership to support the Capability teams by handling impediments and roadblocks

Provide thought leadership to Program Governance activities such as prioritization and negotiating with stakeholders on backlog priority

Ensures all levels of scope are documented according to enterprise standards and methodology

Embrace a continuous improvement mindset and be a leader and heavy contributor to ongoing process improvements

Qualifications:
Prior leadership experience overseeing teams

Deep experience in the Clinical Technology environment

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with an advanced degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Strong experience building out large-scale, multi-year strategies and roadmaps

Strong technical acumen, to be able to provide direction and oversight to teams responsible for gathering requirements and defining scope in an agile environment. Ability to translate business needs into technical language and vice versa.

Must have strong organizational, delivery, product management, program management, and people management expertise

Must have experience influencing both business and technology partners

Must have experience both performing technical product roles as well as leading up teams of technical product resources (Solution Managers, Product Managers or Product Owners)

Strong communicator (ability to communicate at all levels), skilled at stakeholder management (setting and managing expectations) and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills including the ability to work with both internal and external customers and all levels of the organization.

Adept at negotiating; able to resolve conflict and adapt to different approaches using a variety of tactics

Experience working with agile development methodologies, specifically Scaled Agile, required

Jira agile management application experience

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 119,300 - 198,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
