The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.
Responsibilities:
Position Overview:
The Telecommunications Administrator is primarily responsible for high-level CUCM and Collaboration availability and uptime in an environment where data is used for mission-critical decisions, facilitating hospital personnel in accomplishing their objective of excellent patient safety outcomes. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to supporting, customizing, optimizing and installing all aspects of the corporate Cisco Unified Communications System including call routing and scheduling changes, supporting expansion of voice services to new locations, managing call flow and configuration in the Cisco Call Manager, and staying up to date on patches and upgrades - coordinating their application/install in a timely manner. The position directly supports the needs of the departmental phone queues which utilizes Cisco UCCX and Finesse. Responsible for understanding departmental needs, researching issues, and designing and delivering quality resolutions. The Telecommunications Administrator works to continually improve systems through upgrades, expansion, and other ongoing development efforts. Additionally, the position provides ongoing application-level support.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Five (5) years’ experience in a role directly supporting Cisco Unified Call Manager with at least a thousand endpoints
  • Three (3) years’ experience with Cisco Unity
  • Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
  • Experience with TCP/IP, SIP, H.323, RTP, RTCP
  • Experience designing, implementing, and operating Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE) devices
  • Experience using Wireshark and or packet capture tools to troubleshoot VoIP sessions
  • Ability to bulk deploy configuration to hundreds or thousands of endpoints
  • In depth knowledge of CUCM including call routing, calling search space, route group, route list and standard local route group
Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • Current CCNA
  • CCNP Collaboration
  • Experience supporting Cisco Unified Contact Center Express
  • Experience with installation, implementation, and support of SIP and PTSN services through ISP or other carriers
  • Experience with Cisco Emergency Responder
