Assists with daily staffing needs and compliance to Policies and Procedures of 911 Communications through productive working relationships with four (4) floor Supervisors and indirectly 36 Telecommunicators

Maintain fair administration of leave

Provide coverage for 911 center when needed 24/7. Investigate all aspects of complaints from internal and external sources, which may include research of radio transmissions, AVL records, emergency and non-emergency phone calls, procedural violations and personnel issues

Coordinate with Telecommunications Manager, Director, and PIO in providing 911 audio records and or CAD reports for internal and external request

Assist with training personnel
Graduation from high school or GED and five (5) years of experience in emergency communications to include EMS, Fire and Law Enforcement dispatch training, and including two (2) years of demonstrated supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Negative drug screen and background check are required
Necessary additional requirements:
Successful completion of Data Entry, Basic Math, Customer Service, Reading Comprehension, Spelling, Basic Word and Basic Excel tests will be required. Candidates selected as qualified will be contacted via email by a Human Resource representative for testing.
