Nature of Work
The Rocky Mountain Prevention Research Center (RMPRC) in the Colorado School of Public Health at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus has an opening for a part-time (20-30 hrs/week), temporary Program Coordinator in Southeastern, Colorado to work on the Well-being of the ECE workforce in Low-resourced Locations (WELL) Project. The RMPRC is one of 26 PRCs throughout the country that is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Our mission is to advance healthy lifestyles and prevent chronic disease among residents and communities in the Rocky Mountain region by conducting, disseminating, and serving as a resource for community-based prevention research and policy. The Coordinator for the WELL Project will work from Southeastern Colorado and will collaborate with the research team on all aspects related to the WELL program components. The Coordinator will meet regularly with the Project Investigators and other research team members to implement the project.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Help coordinate and attend quarterly steering committee meetings
- Leverage and build community relationships to enhance the well-being of early care and education (ECE) caregivers in SE CO
- Distribute resources and information in the ECE community regarding well-being
- Implement all key components of the WELL program with Head Start ECE centers
- Work with leadership at ECE partner locations and within WELL team to participate in staff meetings, local planning meetings, and, state-level meetings, as needed
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Directors and supervisor

Salary and Benefits
The hiring rate for this position has been established at $30.00 per hour
The above salary rate represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate at the time of posting.
Additional Compensation:
Reimbursed Invoices for milage reimbursement and printing services reimbursement.

Qualifications
- Must live in Southeastern, Colorado
- Must possess and maintain current valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, satisfactory driving record, and personal automobile liability insurance.
- Must be willing and able to drive own vehicle for work as needed (state mileage reimbursement available)
- Must be able to have a flexible schedule including evenings, before school starts and after school ends
- Must be willing to use personal data phone for daily communication
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in focused and well-organized oral and written presentations
- Experience that demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with persons of diverse backgrounds
- Experience working with ECE community
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
