Job description
As a Test Automation Engineer and an active participant on the development team, you will be responsible for various aspects of quality assurance. You must be proficient with test automation and testing tools, working closely with software engineers and product managers to ensure quality in the Logical Engine suite of products. Flexibility to work collaboratively and knowledgeably with team members of each area is vital.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor the application & error logs to ensure application is running smoothly
- Assist in the creation of systems to alert the team to problems
- Understand and analyze the functional and regression scope of product development items
- Use test automation frameworks to design and write test automation scripts
- Participate in requirements analysis and identify areas of focus during testing
- Identify the test scenarios and write test plan documents for manual testers based on requirements
- Assist in the identification and investigation of issues in the software found as a result of testing
- Identify, record, and document thoroughly bugs in the issue tracking system
- Set up and maintain test labs with multiple testing environments
- Create and maintain automated system test cases
- Reproduce reported customer problems to help developers troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues
Skills & Qualifications:
- Programming languages: Ruby, JavaScript
- Experience in front-end/API automation, preferably using tools such as Selenium
- Experience with test frameworks such as RSpec, Jest, Mocha
- Working knowledge and understanding of data structures and models, as well as PostgresQL
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience with CI tools
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
