    ORSA Technologies POSITION TITLE: SME II/SME III/SME IV

    LOCATION: MCAS Yuma, Arizona; MCAS New River, North Carolina

    JOB DESCRIPTION: ORSA Technologies Consulting is currently seeking qualified candidates to provide Test Data Analysis Support to Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Yuma commands. The project includes technical contracted services solutions that will accelerate product delivery, enhance data analytics, and optimize the effectiveness of resources provided Testing and Evaluation. This effort requires a comprehensive solution that seamlessly integrates the personnel, processes, systems, and data necessary to reliably deliver data packages, measure of effectiveness and recommendations for improvement effectiveness, and recommend improvements to the Marine Aviation user community.

    Test Data Analyst: Analyzes scientific problems for resolution through electronic data processing, gathers information from users, defines work problems, and, if feasible, designs a system of computer programs and procedures to resolve the problems. This Worker develops complete specifications or enables other Analyst to prepare required products and analyzes subject-matter operations to be automated; specifies number and types of records, files, and documents to be used and outputs to be produced; prepares work diagrams and data flow charts; coordinates tests of the system and participates in trial runs of new and revised systems; and recommends computer equipment changes to obtain more effective operations.

    Duties and expectations include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Attend test data review meetings
    • Monitor conduct of the test.
    • Monitor the data collection process.
    • Monitor preparation of Test Incident Reports.
    • Certify the data reduction process.
    • Review manual data forms.
    • Assure data quality control.
    • Conduct and review data investigations.
    • Approve impact ratings of manpower and personnel integration problems.
    • Approve risk assessment codes for hazards.
    • Verify and validating test data.

    CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Secret

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree

    CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Desired: N/A

    • EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years' experience researching, planning, developing, implementing and/or operating test database and data analysis hardware, software and procedures to satisfy test data reduction, analysis and presentation requirements..

    SYSTEM SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Experience and knowledge of preparing test documentation (i.e., test reports, technical reports, Test Incident Reports (TIRs), and other reports) in accordance with MCOTEA format.
    • Microsoft suite of systems

    
    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Travel required two weeks per year.
    • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
    • Ability to effectively communicate orally and written.
    • Ability to multi-task and employ problem-solving skills.
