Job Description
EBAD seeks a capable individual for the position of Test Technician, reporting to the Lead Test Technician. This is a second shift position is located in Simsbury, CT.
Responsibilities
The Test Technician position supports environmental testing of development and production products. Duties include:

Test evaluation, set-up and performance
-
Equipment preventive maintenance and calibration

Test data reporting
-
Equipment troubleshooting and repair
Primary responsibility will be evaluation, set-up and performance of vibration, shock and climatic testing. Testing will be performed in accordance with written procedures, MIL-STD’s and industry specifications. Test data will be generated to support customer requirements. Occasional heavy lifting, travel and overtime may be required.
Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma (Associate Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred).
Candidates must be able to interpret and execute test requirements provided in written specifications. Experience working in an aerospace industry is preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience in a test lab environment with exposure to a number of the following areas:
