Job Description

This company is a provider of market-leading high-end RF and Digital Signal Processing solutions for the Aerospace & Defense industry. We are looking for a talented individual with expertise in electronic circuit assembly, system assembly, and testing. You will be part of a team producing Circuit Card Assemblies and mixed assemblies of CCAs. You will also be responsible for the troubleshooting and repair of failing products.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Perform detailed goods inspection.
Custom assembly and testing of electronic board -level products.
Electronic System assembly, inspection, and testing.
Preparing and executing assembly, in-process, and final tests and inspections.
Ensure product quality through proper work ethics, keeping the area clean, organized, and accurately following product assembly procedures and instructions.
Troubleshooting non-working boards and systems.
Accurately report failures and non-conformances in verbal and written format. Performing repairs, modifications, and testing of electronic boards.
Interaction with the Planner, Buyer, Material Coordinator, and Engineering.
Continuous improvement through identifying efficiency and enhancement opportunities.
Perform other duties as required.

Required Skills

At least 3 years of experience in electronics soldering and printed circuit board testing.
Associate Degree or studying towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering a plus.
Ability to solder components on a circuit board. BGA rework experience is a plus.
Trained to IPC-A-610; certification is a plus.
Trained to J-STD; certification is a plus.
Experience with environmental or reliability testing is a plus.
Requires analytical thinking, and strong troubleshooting skills.
Attention to details and tasks.
Proficient with MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to accurately understand instructions and follow directions (both verbal and written).
Experience with ISO9001 or AS9100 quality systems is desired.
Understanding of BOM structures & schematics.
Knowledge of standard electronic lab tools including oscilloscopes, multimeters, waveform generators, power supplies, and logic analyzers.
Proficiency in SAP is a plus.
