Position Summary:
The Director of Sales – National Accounts (DOSNA) will serve as a senior member of the Cozzini Sales Organization (Cozzini EDGE) and lead the National Account selling efforts. The DOSNA is accountable for staffing and leading a tiered sales team comprised of National Account Managers, Business Development Executives and Regional Business Development Managers and achieving the individual performance objectives for each of those roles. The DOSNA role is a combination of strategic development, helping set the architecture for the Cozzini EDGE Sales Team, and tactical execution of team production standards.
Work Location:
Preference will be given to Chicago based candidates. Consideration will be given to candidates residing in major metropolitan markets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Recruits, onboards and maintains staffing within existing salary guidelines to assigned personnel levels.
· Achieves or exceeds team production and customer retention standards.
· Trains and maintains team use and competency in salesforce.com.
· Develops direct reports to next level capabilities.
· Achieves personal and team competency for Cozzini Bros. knife services, programs and sales items.
· Conducts weekly 1:1 coaching and status meetings to review each direct report’s prior week results and to develop action plans for performance shortfalls.
· Approaches all challenges from a holistic perspective and develops all processes and systems in partnership with the senior leadership team of the Cozzini Sales and Operations Organizations.
· Lead and execute frequent ad hoc projects related to all aspects of the Cozzini EDGE Sales Team
· Maintains personal and team compliance with Cozzini expense policies.
· Maintains Cozzini provided equipment in good working order for both personal and team areas of use.
· Adheres to the various policies outlined in Cozzini’s Employee Handbook and Fleet Safety Program for both personal and team areas of control.
· Recommends yearly DOSNA budget to Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing
· Seeks out and maintains knowledge of cutting-edge practices in the marketplace and best practices in Sales Leadership.
· Other duties as may be assigned by supervisor
OTE for this role is $120,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation packages are based on individual factors including experience, skill set, certifications and work location.
