About the Role:
Under the direct supervision of the Program Director or another licensed mental health professional, provides time-limited intensive one-on-one mental health services for a small caseload of children, adolescents, and young adults up to 21. These services will target severe and critical behaviors that place the client at risk of hospitalization or higher-level residential care.



You will make an impact:



  • Develop and implement behaviorally based treatment plans for a small caseload of severely at-risk children, adolescents, or young adults up to 21 who have full-scope Medi-Cal and meet qualifications for medical necessity
  • Engage clients and caregivers positively and respectfully to encourage active involvement in the clients’ behavior treatment plans
  • Attend weekly group and individual supervision meetings as well as required CCBHS meetings and training
  • Complete all required paperwork for Medi-Cal compliance in a thorough and timely manner.
  • Work closely and respectfully with other service providers to ensure that TBS services integrate into the plan of care for the client
  • Coordinate treatment plans with Point Person, caregivers, and other professionals working with TBS clients
  • Maintain agency productivity standard
  • Develop and maintain a consistent regular schedule with clients and communicates with caregivers on time as last-minute schedule changes are a common occurrence
  • Manage client documentation and effectively uses the Electronic Health Records System
  • Comply with HIPAA standards in providing protected health information to others

  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, caregivers, family members, and other professionals
  • Are coachable and committed to improving personal knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Can recognize and effectively navigate team dynamics to ensure optimal client outcomes
  • Maintain agency productivity standard, currently 22 billable hours per 40-hour workweek
  • Can utilize Electronic Health Records efficiently and effectively to complete all required documentation for MediCal compliance on time
  • Can navigate fast-paced, constantly changing daily schedule
  • Adhere to all agency policies and procedures, including NASW Code of Ethics, HIPAA, Core Competencies, and Code of Conduct, Employee Handbook, and state and federal regulations
  • Possess exceptional clinical judgment and problem-solving skills to be able to manage clinical crises and complex case scenarios
  • Enjoy working in a diverse, multi-cultural environment and be sensitive to the service
population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics
