Job Title: Trade Marketing Manager
Location: Teaneck, NJ
Reporting to: Marketing Director

Trade Marketing Manager

What this position is about:
The Trade Marketing Manager role will be leading the Consumer & Trade Activation pillar, supporting the design, development, and implementation of efficient Consumer & Trade programs within the geography of the United States of America.

What will you do:

  • Develop and build trade and consumer programs for all JTI USA product categories in all trade channels. Ensure all programs are in line with the portfolio and corporate strategies.
  • Lead constant information exchange with the sales force and portfolio team to ensure brand programs address market challenges and opportunities. Work closely with RSMs, KAMs, NAMs for the adjustments of programs and plans to secure execution excellence.
  • Manage the proper resource and budget allocation for all product categories, prioritize channels and brand portfolios to ensure effective portfolio program calendars. Work with sales team to plan, develop and implement cycle planning, KPIs and resource prioritization.
  • Lead the continuous assessment of effectiveness for trade, consumer programs, retail contracts and merchandising tools, build proposals to adjust, revise and improve.
  • Liaise with legal, finance, brand and digital teams to build compliant and effective plans, support the Portfolio Manager and Marketing Director for ASP and LE plannings, reporting.
  • Recruit, motivate and guide the professional development of the team reporting directly and indirectly.

Who are we looking for:

  • You have 6-10 years of work experience in Trade & Consumer marketing
  • You have experience in the tobacco industry with expertise in the following areas
  • Key Account Management
  • Merchandising & POSM Management
  • Wholesale Incentive & Retail Price Promotions
  • It would be advantageous if you have experience in
  • Digital coupons
  • Wholesalers Management
  • You are results-oriented and you take initiatives
  • You have project management skills in addition to analytical and strategic skills
  • You have strong communications skills
  • Fluent in English
