Position: Traffic Manager (Import/Export)
Location: Lake Forest (Orange County), CA

Responsibilities:
- Maintain formal import/export compliance program, with periodic updates
- Manage processes with custom brokers as they pertain to compliance
- Prepare documents related to product exports
- Conduct and maintain self-assessment audits
- Assist with ocean/air imports and customer drop shipments from overseas factories
- Gather information and documents from the factories or outside vendors to build container files and set up data in the NetSuite.
- Create proper documentation for export orders (commercial invoices, packing lists, export declarations, airway bills, etc.)
- Coordinate documentation for factory drop shipments to Canada ensuring timely Customs entry for Canadian customers.
- Maintain export records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Code freight and broker invoices to the proper account and cost center.
- Gathering information and documents from overseas factories / vendors.
- Arrange all necessary paperwork related to incoming inventories to be submitted to Accounting Team.
- Verifying and updating data related to inventory receipt
- Order placement for parts to suppliers
- Classify products and parts under the US HTS (Harmonized Tariff System)
- Research, interpret, and perform impact analysis on regulatory and legislative trade controls
- Coordinate and support transloading duties within multiple warehouses, including 3PL.
