Job Summary:


Join Central Human Resources as a Training Coordinator for the Learning and Development team located on the Anschutz Medical Campus. We are looking for a highly motivated, solution driven professional to assist in supporting the Learning & Development team and provides logistics coordination for all HR related training programs, manages training data, ensures training data and is responsible for securing venues, presenter coordination and event management. This is a full-time university staff position that is currently remote.

This position is eligible to work a hybrid schedule of 2 days per week on campus and is expected to setup L&D workshops and attend in-person meetings when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Program Logistics:

  • Help manage training calendars internal and external facing.
  • Help manage and coordinate the registration process and timelines for all training programs for all schools/colleges/departments for Anschutz Medical Campus.
  • Coordinates HR training programs, including but not limited to new employee orientation, Crucial Conversations, performance management, etc. to include planning and setup of programs which may include:
    • Instructor scheduling/notifications
    • Catering
    • Supply Management (place orders in MarketPlace, billing reports)
    • Tracking attendance
    • Room setup and tear down (tables, supplies, etc.)
    • Zoom Setup (Links and course moderation as needed)
    • Create attendance PowerPoint slides, etc.
    • Create/send program completion certificates
  • Assist with program document revisions and control.
  • Assist Program Specialist with marketing materials for all HR training programs through various communication avenues including the HR website.
  • Manage end of course evaluations.
  • Assist Program Specialist with HCM uploads for various training programs.
  • Manage courses and sessions in Learning Management System.

Program Content Development and Facilitation:

  • Assists with new employee orientation content development and maintenance in Canvas or other designated system(s). Develops knowledge and is well versed in university and campus policies in order to respond to questions and cover key topics.
  • Provides training and assistance to schools/colleges/departments on processes regarding training registration and what training programs are offered.
  • Assists with development and maintenance of templates for presentations, participant guides, facilitator guides, etc.

Analytics:

  • Collects end of course survey data for review and distribution.
  • Assist with analyzing course statistics for determining relevance, number of courses offered, etc.

Other Duties:

  • Support Assistant Vice Chancellor with meeting scheduling and other administrative support.
  • Schedule Learning and Development team meetings.
  • Assist Program Specialist and Website Administrator with annual year in review and guest facilitator appreciation.
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of new technology related to training registration, data collection, etc.; such as E-Comm, C-Vent, Zoom, Qualtrics, and SurveyMonkey.
  • Curate information for the Learning and Development website and HR newsletter.

Qualifications:


Minimum Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in business, higher education administration, human resources, organizational development or a directly related field from an accredited institution.

Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of experience which included event planning, logistics, and/or administrative support.
  • Experience with all aspects of coordinating training programs and events.
  • Experience coordinating a variety of topics – informational sessions such as new employee orientation and professional development topics such as emotional intelligence, communication, supervisory skills, etc.
  • Experience with various forms of technology such as HCM systems, Learning Management Systems (LMS), SkillSoft, LinkedIn Learning, or similar systems.
  • Experience creating documents, presentations and spreadsheets utilizing Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Visio.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience with platforms such as Zoom meeting/webinar and Canvas for e-learning, meeting and events.
  • Previous experience in higher education.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of the professional standards, concepts, and practices of recruitment and selection, employee relations, or organizational development and human resource policy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally, including public speaking.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Anticipated Pay Range:


The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $49,300.

The above hiring range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation depending on the level.
