Scope of Responsibilities:

· Accurate transcription and editing of legal hearings/drafts from digital recordings.

· Must be able to meet specific deadlines for completion of transcripts.

Required Skills/Qualifications

· Typing Proficiency in both Speed and Accuracy (minimum 95% accuracy )

· Excellent attention to detail, active listening and reading comprehension skills

· Outstanding Literacy Skills -- including comprehension, spelling, and grammar

· Proficiency in Microsoft Word

· Must be proficient in the English language

· Two (2) year as a word processor or transcriptionist

· Adherence to Deadlines and Client-Specific Style Guides

· Ability to Collaborate Remotely

· Ability to Pass a Background Check

· Familiarity with Legal terminology

· Experience with court reporting, scoping or legal transcription required. Court reporting students will also be considered.

**Rates are paid per audio minute. Payments can be made twice monthly via direct deposit.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
