ManTech is seeking a Transition Coordinator to support a functional group of projects within the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL) Science & Technology Division (S&T).

The S&T Division consists of four Offices: Future Technology Office (FTO), S&T Integration Office (OSTI), Current Technology Office (CTO) and the Marine Corps Rapid Capability Office (MCRCO). You will work in one of the branches of the CTO as the transition focal point and report to the MCRCO.

MCRCO MISSION: The Commandant of the Marine Corps (CMC) directed the formation of the MCRCO to seek emergent and disruptive technology to rapidly transition operational capability; increasing survivability, lethality, and effectiveness of the Fleet Marine Forces (FMF).

This position requires an ACTIVE DoD TS/ SCI (eligible) security clearance.

General Responsibilities :

Provide transition support for each project within your assigned Element portfolio within the Current Technologies Office (CTO) of the S&T Division. Focus is to transition projects of a Technology Readiness Level 7+ into fielded capabilities. There are four Elements within CTO:

  • Ground Combat Element
    • Ground Combat Element Team
    • Robotics / Automation Team
    • Fires Team
    • Air Combat Element
  • Logistics Combat Element
    • Logistics
    • Medical
  • Information Environment
    • Space
    • C4ISR
    • Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
    • Electronic Warfare
  • Provide information and data on each project within your assigned Element portfolio for the development of Program Objective Memorandum (POM) Initiative submission and/or POM updates of a Program of Record (PoR). You will coordinate with the Capability Integration Officers (CIOs) for POM submission.
  • Provide information and data on each project within your assigned Element portfolio for the development of project requirements documents (Rapid Statement of Need (RSON), Initial Capabilities Document (ICD), Capability Development Document (CDD), Capability Production Document (CPD), etc.
  • Provide information and data on each project within your assigned Element portfolio for the development of project Security Classification Guides.
  • Provide information and data on each project within your assigned Element portfolio for in the development of project Authorization to Operate (ATO) and other cyber documentation, as needed.
  • Provide information and data on each project within your assigned Element portfolio for the development of the initial Acquisition Strategy for the rapid prototyping, rapid fielding, and/or fielding of a project into a PoR. You will work with the Acquisition community to develop the Acquisition Strategy.
  • Maintain the project quad charts within your assigned Element portfolio.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME), as needed, to support the Future Technologies Office (FTO) and Science & Technology Integration Office (STI) on potential future projects for assessments.
  • Coordinate with DoD Services/Agencies and Other Federal Agencies, as needed, to facilitate the rapid fielding of the project.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 year experience
  • Active TS/SCI (eligible) clearance (DOD - DISS)

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
