Work for one of the largest transportation contractors associated with the United States Postal Service. A truckload carrier with a national presence, operating in every continental state. We are seeking a proactive Regional Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate for this position will understand the day-to-day dynamics of the commercial transportation industry, as well as safety procedures - specifically CSA, DOT, and OSHA regulations.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• General Supervision of company drivers
• Manage USPS contracts within your region
• Perform Safety Training for all drivers
• Maintain scheduling of drivers and their route/trips
• Development of high performance and employee retention
• Create and maintain a workplace culture that supports key goals
• Work with other departments to ensure overall success
• Lead employees to meet our organization’s expectations of compliance, safety, and customer service

Skills:

• Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills

• General knowledge of employment laws and practices

• Ability to handle emergency situations effectively

• Must be Team-oriented

• Strong verbal and written communications skills

• General computer skills

• Ability to work in a high-pace environment

Preferred Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience with business management

• Understanding of the transportation industry

• Knowledge of CSA, DOT, and OSHA regulations and procedures

• Must have previous relatable experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
