The Role:

We’re seeking a Transportation Manager based in Fort Collins, CO to serve as our operational leader for our Colorado operation with United Airlines in its Denver hub. Reporting to our Head of Surface Operations, this position has oversight over all airport and vehicle operations in the region.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all customer-facing operations in the Colorado region
• Manage Landline’s bus operations and maintenance; oversee our team of motorcoach drivers
• Maintain knowledge of the company’s regulatory obligations and ensure Landline’s operations comply with all applicable FMCSA and FAA regulations, including safety and security policies, duty time requirements, and vehicle standards
• Hire, train and evaluate employees and maintain standard operating procedures for all team members
• Clearly communicate company and operational performance standards to team members and drive achievement
• Maximize operational performance by driving a safety-first culture and ensuring alignment between teams at different locations
• Effectively communicate goals, opportunities and challenges to company leadership and external stakeholders
• Adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency
• Execute vehicle maintenance plan and schedule vehicle maintenance accordingly
• Represent the Landline brand and be an example of our customer-first principles

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• 5+ years of management experience in an operationally intensive, shift-based business. Previous transportation management experience is strongly preferred.
• Proven success in a team environment

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Well-developed leadership skills and the ability to motivate team members working toward a common goal
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to carry out safety-sensitive FAA Ground Security Coordinator functions when needed
• CDL with passenger endorsement or willingness to obtain is strongly preferred
• All other duties as assigned

This is a Safety-Sensitive Position subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FAA/FMCSA guidelines:

Applicants must complete a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check and/or fingerprinting to comply with company security requirements

Applicants must successfully complete FAA criminal background checks to qualify for access privileges to the airport Security Identification Display Area (SIDA)

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
