We're looking for a Transportation Manager to oversee all domestic last mile deliveries. Reporting directly to the Company President, you will be responsible for overseeing Domestic LTL transportation. You will be a key partner in our supply chain activity as our business and transportation efforts grow! Please note: This position can be based not only in LA, but also NJ, TX, GA, according to the candidate.

Responsibles:

• Lead, direct and manages mode managers and analysts. Build up the transportation team from 0-N. To include hiring, training, evaluating performance, providing compensation recommendations, and determining disciplinary actions when necessary.Oversee transportation and logistics of all customer orders within the organization.
• Arrange for pickup and delivery of all international inbound shipments.
• Partner with Freight Forwarders to obtain quotes and manage shipments into the US.
• Develop new and modify existing international trade compliance procedures.
• Arrange and manage LTL network of customer deliveries from 3PL on a weekly basis.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely pickups and deliveries according to unique service level agreements.
• Monitor and analyze data and KPIs to drive management reporting and continuous improvement in transportation.
• Manage logistics processes with various carriers.
• Deliver daily track & trace reporting to team members.
• Source appropriate freight vendors

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain is preferred
• 5 years of logistics and operations experience
• Knowledge of state and federal transportation laws
• Knowledge of international trade compliance
• Proficient in MS Office
• Fluent in Mandarin is preferred
• Ability to travel between states

Pay: $46,043.00 - $97,507.00 per year
