GARNEY CONSTRUCTION
A Superintendent job is available at A&W Coatings . To be considered for this position you must have experience in coatings applications and surface preparation operations, such as high-pressure water cleaning, and abrasive blasting. Knowledge of plural component pumps, abrasive blast equipment, confined space work, and coating applications. As a Superintendent you will have excellent time management skills, possess a positive attitude, lead, and work with the crews, and adhere to A&W Coating’s safety policies and procedures. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Drive job site safety and promote safety culture
Oversee and coordinate the activities of field employees
Follow project plans and schedules to ensure that crews meet production goals
Translate general work requirements into a prioritized work plan for the crew
Check equipment to ensure proper working conditions
Assist in cost control
Maintain employee time reporting
Prepare reports as required
Work alongside and train fieldcraft WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Municipal/Industrial Coating Construction Experience
General knowledge of Coating/Spraying Equipment operations and maintenance.
Knowledge of abrasive blast equipment, surface preparation standards, plural component pumps, and understanding plans and specifications.
The ideal candidate would have prior experience with coating systems and/or relevant certifications to coating applications.
Must be willing to work overtime as required.
