Job description
D.H. Griffin Contracting is currently seeking a qualified Industrial Electrician. Qualified applicants must be self-motivated and willing to put in the effort to be successful. Qualifications include but are not limited to:
- Minimum of 5 years industrial electrical experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics, e-plans, and specifications.
- Knowledge of power, controls, automation, and network systems 1000 volts and less.
- Ability to meet new clients and secure new projects.
- Ability to track projects and keep up with ordering materials, billing the customer and managing manpower for each project.
- Ability to understand project scope and customer needs.
- Must be computer literate and understand the basics of Microsoft Office programs.
- Must be able to do take-offs and estimate small to medium size projects.
- Able to travel to work on different industrial projects.
