ABOUT THE COMPANY: Formed from the merger of Wright Tree Care and Heard Gardens, Wright Outdoor Solutions has been caring for Central Iowa’s outdoor spaces since 1928. In 2013, we purchased local Iowa company The Growing Concern, which allowed us to take our services indoors as well. In 2019, we expanded our reach into the Omaha market through the acquisition of Omaha based company Verdure Elements , offering interior plantscaping, seasonal color, and holiday design services. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Operates stump grinder machine for arbor related assignments.
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Performs routine inspection and general maintenance on equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed.
- Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with the Wright Service Corp family of company’s culture of safety and employee ownership.
- Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
- Prior experience operating a stump grinder is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Ability to push, pull, reach, climb, kneel, lift (up to 75 lbs.) and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Must be dependable, punctual and have a strong work ethic.
- Must be detail oriented and have good communication skills.
- Must be adaptable in a changing work environment.
- Must be able to perform activities with close visual acuity, such as reading a computer screen and reading print material and complete daily assignments.
- Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors.
